Chinese Norinco AK47 Type 56 Clamp On Folding Spike Bayonet
This is the famous under-folding "Pigsticker" Spike bayonet seen on the "early" Chinese NORINCO type 56 AK47.
The bayonet is installed to the front sight housing using a rivet "Bayonet Pin" to hinge the Spike Bayonet on the Front Sight Base.
The spring-loaded handle allows the bayonet to be deployed quickly and locked in place.
